International Women’s Month Celebration ?

 Fempower International Women’s Day Message

Fempower joined the world on International Women’s Day on 8th March, to honour women’s accomplishments and raise awareness about bias in the digital economy around the world. International Women’s Day is an opportunity to recognize and honour women’s achievements in the workplace. It has assisted in the strengthening of support for women’s rights groups and political and economic engagement. This day has special meaning for women in developing countries, whose rights may be severely limited. This year’s theme on International Women’s Day is #BreakTheBias.

Black is beautiful!

During the month of February, we celebrated Black History Month. This year’s theme was Black Health and Wellness. This theme honours not only the contributions of Black intellectuals and medical practitioners to Western medicine, but also other forms of knowledge (e.g., birth workers, doulas, midwives, naturopaths, herbalists, and so on) from across Africa.

Here at Fempower, we recognize the Black community’s achievements and experiences. May we never forget to stand up to injustice, prejudice, and inequality.

As we approach International Women’s Day in March, Let us honour women’s accomplishments and raise awareness about bias in the digital economy around the world.
