Apple is reportedly exploring a partnership with Google
Apple is looking to team up with Google for a mega-deal to leverage the Gemini AI model for features on iPhone, Bloomberg reported. This will put Google in a commanding position as the company already has a deal with Apple as the preferred search engine provider on iPhones for the Safari browser.
The publication cited people familiar with the matter saying that Apple is looking to license Google’s AI tech to introduce AI-powered features with iOS updates later this year. Additionally, the company also held discussions with OpenAI to potentially use GPT models, Bloomberg said.

Google Integrates Social Media Posts Into Google Business Profiles
Google has introduced a feature that automatically displays social media posts from platforms like Instagram and Facebook directly on Google Business Profiles (GBP).
This update aims to give customers a more comprehensive view of a business’s online activity and engagement.
According to a Google help page, businesses that have associated their social media links with their GBP may now find their social media posts automatically surface on their profiles.

Companies can now promote member content with LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads
LinkedIn expanded Thought Leader Ad’s capabilities. Advertisers will have the ability to sponsor content from any member, not just employees, for any Page they manage.
How does it work?
On LinkedIn Campaign Manager, you will see this option when you select brand awareness or engagement campaign objectives. From there, you will have the option to search for LinkedIn user posts they want to sponsor.

Meta to Reduce Subscription Fees About 50% on Facebook, and Instagram for DMA Compliance
Meta’s Tim Lamb, director of competition and regulatory, recently shared with the European Commission that the company may reduce the subscription fees on individual pricing by about 50 percent, Reuters reported. From the original €9.99, Meta would only be charging those who choose to avail the service in the European region with only €5.99.On the other hand, Lamb also suggested that additional accounts opting for this subscription would now charge €4 instead of €6.
