Information Technology (IT) Devops Manager

• Maintain essential IT infrastructure (Cloud experience a must), including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
• Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
• Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.

Responsibilities

• Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
• Make sure system components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full capabilities, stay informed about new features and competitor solutions, and provide input to management.
• Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best possible service and value for business needs.
• Train staff and Interns on systems use, troubleshoot issues and provide technical support.
• Execute disaster planning and maintain data backups.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in IT management, including DevOps
• Cloud Server Migration and virtualization experience is a must.
• Skills to understand and oversee code development – both software and mobile.
• Full Stack developer experience both on the web and mobile (preferred)
• Use and familiarity with the latest programming languages
• Ability to assess and recruit top candidates, train new IT staff and Interns, and supervise and motivate team members for high performance.
• Ability to identify software needs.
• Knowledge of architecture processes and performance reports of operating systems.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Deep knowledge of the following.

1. Programming languages such as PHP, CMS, WordPress is required, and operating systems (ex: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory), current equipment and technologies,

2. Enterprise backup and recovery procedures and systems performance monitoring

3. Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions

4. Strong creative and analytical thinking

5. Fundamentals of Cyber Security

6. Systems and networks.

7. Data analysis, DevOps, Cloud computing, Machine learning.

Preferred Education Background

• Degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science or other tech-related courses
• Candidates with a master’s degree are preferable.
• Candidates with a degree in business management combined with a diploma in cybersecurity, web development, data management, or other tech-related fields can also be suitable for the position.
• Ideal candidates will also have additional training to understand intellectual property rights, government regulations, information security, and privacy policies.
